There is no such thing as prince charming.
That I know for a fact.
But men are out there and all of them are damaged. Some less so than others. Some need you more than you need them.
But the man who entered my life and changed it forever was a man who was anything but prince charming.
Daniel Cooke is a hero of a different stripe. He wears no hat and his star tarnished. Our past is complicated but I'll do anything for the man who literally breathed life back into me. He protects me from the evil that men do. But god help him, I AM the evil that men do where it comes to personal vendettas.
My enemies are many. There are few I can trust. The only one I can trust without question is the man who needs me as much as I need him.
Daniel Cooke and I are complicated people.
God help you if you ever cross us. Because my talents are inexplicable. And they can be fatal.
